Home staging, whether it is vacant or occupied, is the most effective way to promote a home to potential buyers. By creating a beautiful, functional space, staging decreases the number of days that a home sits on the market and increases the sales price by drawing multiple offers. 

When we stage a home, we are staging the home of someone’s dreams. As a potential buyer walks into a professionally-staged home, or views it online, they are able to visualize themselves living in that home. Once they can envision themselves and their family interacting in the space, they form an emotional connection to that home, inspiring them to make that house their home.

 

Although the square footage and amenities are necessary to calculate a home’s real value, the perceived value, or what the buyer believes the home to be worth to them, is what sells. Or as some may say, a home is only worth what someone else is willing to pay. When we create an environment in which the buyer can form an emotional connection to the home, it increases the home’s perceived value, which translates to less days on the market and more profit for the seller.
